Gabi was educated at the University of Dundee and went on to complete her legal traineeship at a local Dundee firm. She developed a clear interest in Family and Child Law from the outset of her traineeship. Gabi enjoys working closely with clients who are in dispute over the care of their children and has extensive experience in appearing in various Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland. She has conducted numerous proofs and always strives to get the best outcome of her clients whilst also managing client expectations.
Gabi is regularly instructed as a legal representative for parents who are involved within the Children’s Hearing System. She has developed a clear understanding of the process and has the knowledge to guide clients through what can be an extremely difficult time. She also has substantial experience in defending parents whose children are subject to Permanency proceedings.
Gabi regularly advises clients who are in the process of separating from their spouses or partners and can provide clear, accurate advice in relation to the financial aspects of their separation.
In addition to practicing in the above areas of law, Gabi also appears on a regular basis in the Criminal courts as defence agent.
Gabi has developed a down to earth yet direct approach in order to ensure that clients feel at ease and confident whilst working with her.
